Moving away from a Cloud E-mail Archiving Provider?

Today we had some internal discussion about how to proceed from a spam filtering and e-mail archiving standpoint. Right now we are with Mimecast (spam, archiving, e-mail continuity), and the renewal is up at the end of the month.

We're not unhappy with Mimecast as an offering, but one thing the CEO and our team cannot stomach is the per-GB charge of data exgestion. When we started with Mimecast a couple of years ago, we had them ingest all of our historical PST data as well as a PST of every user mailbox. So we're up to about 780 GB. We probably have 65-70% of that data on our internal Exchange 2010 server at the moment (using Standard CALs for all users). We have the ability to download data from the archive in EML format only (not PST).
